Roll Against Time
Your goal is to reach the goal of each level in 5 seconds. Have fun!
Although you can play this on the web version, I've noticed it doesn't really run that well. So I really recommend downloading and playing the desktop version for the best experience.
This game jam was definitely a learning process for me, and I did not have enough time to put everything I wanted in or polish it as much as I wanted to. I plan to keep working on this after the jam, and here's a list of the things I want to add/improve:
- Way more levels. I'm not that fast at modeling yet so I just ran out of time.
- Fixing janky physics momentum. I chose to use a rigid body (physics-simmed movement) for the player and don't really like the end result too much.
- Actual music. (I don't know how to do music and definitely did not have time to learn so I didn't add any)
- Fixing audio bugs. Weird issue with the rolling sound playing at the wrong times, and some others.
- More mechanics. Hidden cookie on each level (real sad I didn't have time to add that one), jump pads, moving obstacles/enemies, slippery terrain, etc. I have a bunch of ideas I want to try.
- General performance improvements
But anyways, if you have feedback I'd love to hear it! Hope you enjoy the little bit of levels I was able to create!
